General Information
Zeen is a sit-stand-walk mobility device with lift assist that centers body weight for stability. It supports rising, walking, coasting while seated, and resting.
Key Features:
- Lift assist using adjustable gas springs for partial to near-full rise.
- Centered support for balance during walking and seated coasting.
- Hand brakes and parking brake for control and safety.
- Folding frame with never-flat tires for easier transport and storage.
Examples of Use:
- Rising from a low chair, then walking with steady support.
- Walking community distances with rest breaks on the integrated seat.
- Seated coasting to conserve energy in large indoor spaces.
Types:
- Models are configured by user weight range and spring strength, commonly 50–175 lb, 100–250 lb, and 150–325 lb.
- One-handed control option is available.
Important Note:
- Not for use on stairs or escalators. A single step of up to six inches may be feasible and depends on user strength. Use extra caution on curbs and slopes, lower the seat for traction, and keep at least one foot on the ground when on inclines. Confirm hand control needs, fit by stand-over height and weight, and ensure adequate doorway width and turning space. Training and adjustment are recommended during setup.
